“What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it and pull it down… then you can swallow it, and it’ll all dissolve, see… and the moonbeams would shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair…”

Who says I can’t have the moon if I want it? Happy New Year to me :)
“About Life: It is not complicated unless I make it so. It is not difficult unless I allow it to be. A second is no more than a second, a minute no more than a minute, a day no more than a day. They pass. All things and all time will pass. Don’t force or fear, don’t control or lose control. Don’t fight and don’t stop fighting. Embrace and endure. If you embrace, you will endure.”
“Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” If you come across truth in any form, it isn’t outside your faith as a Christian. Your faith just got bigger. To be a Christian is to claim truth wherever you find it. It’s not truth over here and Jesus over there, as if they were two different things. Where we find one, we find the other. Jesus is quoted in the book of John saying, “I and the Father are one.” If Jesus and God are one, if Jesus shows us what God is really, truly like, and God is truth and all truth is God’s truth, then Jesus takes us into the truth, not away from it. He frees us to embrace whatever is true and good and beautiful wherever we find it.”
“His song is playing all around us all the time. The song is playing everywhere. It’s written on our hearts and everybody is playing the song. See, the question isn’t whether or not you’re playing a song. The question is: Are you in tune?”
2. What you think you wanted yesterday likely will differ from what you want six months from now, so…
3. …don’t waste your time making predictions; too many things are beyond your control. Just take life as it comes and make plans, but take care not to overdo it.
4. Don’t be the arrogant bastard who goes into a profession for the money. There’s nothing admirable about that.
5. The show “I Didn’t Know I was Pregnant” WILL yield severe acute anxiety if you’re sexually active. Proceed with caution.
6. Don’t take yourself too seriously. You’re not as cool as you think you are.
7. Let karma deal with people who wrong you. Trust me, it does a better job at giving people a taste of their own medicine(s) than you ever will.
8. You HAVE to grow up eventually. You can be childlike in some respects, but neglecting responsibilities as you age is foolish.
9. Surround yourself with people who inspire you to become better.
10. Make yourself vulnerable sometimes. It’s good for you. :)
